BETHUNE – Funeral service for Bessie Mae Hagins, 52, will be held on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Bethel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Hagins passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018. Born in Bishopville, she was the daughter of Mary Louise Dunham King and the late Peter King. She was a CNA and enjoyed crocheting and fishing. Surviving are her husband of 27 years, Willie Hagins; mother, Mary King of Dallas, Ga.; step-children, J Von Hagins, Rudine Hagins and Lionel Hagins; sisters, Debra Johnson and Kathy McCaskill; brother, George King; and grandchildren, Major Reed and Bayah Byrd.
