LUGOFF – A memorial service for Matthew “Matt” Allen Biggers, 27, will be held at 5pm on Sunday, April 22, 2018, with a visitation 1hr prior, at Powers Funeral Home. Matt was born in Columbia, SC, on March 17, 1991 to Lisa Yarborough Biggers and Allen Jeffrey Biggers. Matthew enjoyed working on cars and riding four-wheelers with his brothers and dad, white water rafting, and spending time with his sons and niece. Matt was a 2009 Lugoff-Elgin High School graduate, where he was a part of the BETA club, wrestling team, and football team. He was a two-time recipient of an ATEC outstanding student award in Camden, SC. Matt became certified as a commercial diver from the International Diving Institute. Matt provided for his family all the love and support he had to give. Matt went to be with the Lord on April 19, 2018. Matt’s legacy lives on by his surviving sons, Nicholas Allen Biggers and Alexander Matthew Biggers, along with their mother and Matt’s fiancé, Mary Gogos; brothers, Zackery William Biggers (Victoria) and Michael Jeffrey Biggers, both of Lugoff; sister and niece, Danielle Nicole Biggers and Peyton Marie Joyner of Lugoff; parents, Lisa Yarborough Biggers and Allen Jeffrey Biggers of Lugoff; paternal grandfather, Allen Dixon Biggers of York, SC; maternal grandparents, Mac Finley Yarborough and Sandra Parrish Yarborough of Bethune, SC.
