LUGOFF- A Reflection Service for Cindi D. Mulder, 61, will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 6:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life until 8:00 PM at Powers Funeral Home in Lugoff, SC. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Lyttleton St. UMC in Camden, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gideons International. Cindi Mulder was born in Mitchell, South Dakota on October 12, 1956 to William Benjamin Mulder and the late Aldeene Carol Ettswold Mulder. She started her life as an active little girl with curiosity and adventure in her heart. She attended rural country school until the fifth grade when her family moved to Armour, SD. She graduated Armour High School in 1974 then went on to study Nursing at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion where she graduated as a Registered Nurse. Cindi worked as a RN the rest of her life, spreading her compassion for healthcare across the country; including, San Francisco, CA, Portland, OR, Columbus, GA, Tampa, FL, and South Carolina (to name a few). Cindi loved life and was beyond brave. She worked harder than any of us can imagine and celebrated her efforts with traveling, entertaining, and dancing (the Shag). She also bared witness of God’s love in the most relatable of ways and reached so many people. Cindi had her precious daughter, Cori Alexana Maness-Mulder, in 1994 to whom she devoted her life and cherished. Cindi has three sisters, Lori Cahill (Jim), Alana Mulder, and Chari Preacher (Ronnie), as well as her brother Bryan Mulder (Joan). She also has two nieces, Arden and Aleena Preacher, and three nephews, Benjamin and Joseph Cahill, and Jordan Mulder. There will be an intimate memorial service in Armour, SD for those who have known and loved Cindi from her roots. Future arrangements will be announced at a later date.
