LUGOFF- A celebration of life service for Clark Dennis Cokley, 65, will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Timothy Cokley will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Oliver Gospel Mission. Dennis passed away May 26, 2018. Born in Cayce, he was a son of the late Charlie Cokley, Sr. and Vernell Tillman Cokley. Dennis served in the U.S. Air Force and was the owner of Carolina Genesis. He enjoyed fishing, shooting, gardening, spending time with his family, and he loved animals. Surviving are his wife, Allyssa Boleyn Cokley; children, Shonda Foulks (Julius), Christopher Cokley, Holly Cokley, Samuel Cokley (Emily West), Grace Cokley, Charlie J. Cokley; grandchildren, Brandon Wheeler, Brian Wheeler, Brianna Pitts, Sage Cokley; siblings, Charlie Cokley, Jr. (Oknan), Rev. Timothy Cokley (Cynthia), Helen Brooks and Margie Paymon (Jesse); sister-in-law, Patricia Cokley; and numerous other relatives. He was predeceased by brothers, Raymond and Clarence W. Cokley.
