CASSATT – A memorial service for Mary Lou Hammond, 60, will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Camden Ward. Mrs. Hammond passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018 at home. Born in Kamawha, W.V., she was the daughter of the late James and Betty Savage Stepp. Mary Hammond loved her testimony of Jesus Christ, her children and her husband. She never knew a stranger and always thought of herself last. Surviving are her husband, Robert James Hammond; children, Chris Miller (Teryn), Natalie Miller, Milton Helton (Patricia); and 10 grandchildren.
