BISHOPVILLE – Services for Melvin DuBose Kennington Jr., 59, will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. Mr. Kennington died Monday, April 8, 2013. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Melvin DuBose Kennington Sr. and Alice DeBruhl Kennington. He loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed playing the guitar. Surviving are his children, Melvin Nieves, Heather Reynolds, Clara West and Cathy Bennenhaley; sister, Christy Baker (Homer); and 7 grandchildren.
