Camden – Funeral services for Michael Lee Truel, 56, will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery. The Rev. Donnie Dixon and the Rev. Darren Truel will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church. Mr. Truel passed away Monday, June 18, 2018. Born in Wichita Falls, TX, he was a son of Lee Mason Truel and Josephine Elinor Branham. Mr. Truel was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Michael was a 1980 graduate of Camden High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. Surviving are his mother, Josephine Branham of Camden; father, Lee Truel of Camden; siblings, Alicia Watkins (Ricky), Darren Truel (Jennifer), Stephen Kirk Truel (Maggie), Helen Tackett (Lee); a sister-in-law, Tammy Truel; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Robert Truel.
