LAKE WATEREE – A service to celebrate the life of Pamela Johnston Roy, 63, will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Roy died peacefully on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. She was born on July 14, 1954 to the late Vollie Lee and Oletta Heggie Johnston She is survived by her husband, Jim; her son, Aaron Fecher of Lewisville, Texas; her daughter, Angela Jenson (Jake) of Mead, CO; granddaughter, Maya of Mead, CO; sisters, Shirley Ann Rogers (J.P.) of Antioch, Ark., Rita Byrd (Johnny) of Minden, LA and Betty LaPrairie. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Barbara Maynard, W.L. Johnston, Nina Lester, Gary Johnston, Peggy Ferrell and Johnny Johnston. She was a member of Lake Wateree Presbyterian Church. She loved golfing, playing bridge and spending time with the many wonderful friends at Lake Wateree.
