CAMDEN – A memorial service for George James Clark, 77, will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Hermitage Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hermitage Baptist Church. Mr. Clark passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. Born on April 9, 1941 in Walterboro, S.C., he was the son of the late George William Clark and Vashti Marsh Clark. He retired from DuPont where he was a mechanical technician. He was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are his children, Patricia Denise Clark, Debra Clark, Tara Clark and Casey D. Clark; 5 grandchildren; brother, Mark W. Clark (Venus); and sister, Marsha “Bitsy” Clark Morrow (Gene). He was predeceased by his son, Anthony Keith Clark.
