CAMDEN – Graveside service for Sybil Sheffield Dabney, 91, will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Wateree Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following service in the fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to Wateree Baptist Church. Mrs. Dabney, wife of the late Edwin L. Dabney Sr., passed away at home on Wednesday, July 25, 2018. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of Johnny Franklin and Madeline Cox Sheffield. She retired from First Palmetto Bank where she was an executive vice president. She was a member of Wateree Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday school and G.A.’s. She enjoyed crocheting, collecting dolls and traveling. Surviving are her children, Edwin Lewis Dabney Jr. (Jeannie), Cheryl Dabney Truesdale, Deborah Dabney Teague and Deanna Dabney Fulmer (Bill); 10 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sons-in-law, Brad Teague and Roddy Truesdale.
