CAMDEN – Bennie Marshall Humphries’ daughter would like to honor Bennie’s memory by serving a meal to the hungry. This will take place on August 4, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. at Food For The Soul, 110 East DeKalb Street, Camden next to the Clinic. Everyone is welcome. Bennie’s brother will arrange a band tribute to be held at a later date. Mr. Humphries, husband of the late Amy Catoe, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018. Born in Camden, he was the son of Albert O. and Agnes Linton Humphries. Bennie was known for is accomplished guitar playing. Surviving are his son, Brody Marshall Humphries; daughter, Hannah Ann Humphries; parents, Albert and Agnes Humphries; brother, Robert Humphries (Dawn); and sister, Mary Phillips. He was preceded in death by a brother, Albert “Linnie” Humphries.
