CAMDEN – A celebration of life service for Joyce F. Humphrey will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at First Church of the Nazarene in Camden with burial to follow in Bethany Cemetery in Lucknow, S.C. The Rev. David Snodgrass and the Rev. Brian Ogburn will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday 6-8 p.m. Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. An Angel was called home on Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Born in Camden, Joyce was the daughter of Furman and Moise Farmer. Joyce always thought of others before she thought of herself. She loved and cherished everyone in her family, but most of all she cherished her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her best friend Alice Truesdale Gardner, and special cousin, Linda Buseck. She enjoyed baking and sewing. Surviving are her granddaughter, Elizabeth Seals; grandson, Paul Seals II; great-grandchildren, Chris Seals, Latia Benson, Amaya Benson, Paul Seals III and Katherine Seals. She is predeceased by her late husband, Morris Humphrey; a son, Paul Seals; and a brother, George Farmer. Our family would like to thank the staff of KershawHealth Hospice for their loving care, especially nurses, Jim, Renda, Ali, Lorene, Linda and Melinda. Also the family would like to thank friends of the family that also helped with her care, Renee Anderson, Tracy Price and Dorothy Furniss.
