LUGOFF – Funeral services for Albert Gene Hollingsworth, 86, will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Gene Stokes will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mr. Hollingsworth, husband of the late Doris Elaine Baker Hollingsworth, passed away Monday, August 06, 2018. Born in Thorntown, IN, he was a son of the late Arthur and Nora Mae Southern Hollingsworth. Mr. Hollingsworth served in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years and then retired from DuPont. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Mr. Hollingsworth enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR, traveling to the mountains, eating out, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are his son, Charles Hollingsworth (Terri) of Kershaw; daughter, Phyllis Rabon of Lugoff; grandchildren, Brandon Rabon, Christopher Rabon, Kristina Bradley (Rev. Raymond); and great-grandchildren, Nathan Bradley and DeLana Rabon.
