LUGOFF – Funeral service for Roy Nick Branham, 80, will be held Monday at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Camden. The Rev. Steve Lewis will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday 4-6 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Spring Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mr. Branham, husband of the late Mary Elizabeth Craft Branham, died Thursday, April 18, 2013. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Nick Purdy and Annie Estelle Ivey Branham. He served in the United States Navy. Mr. Branham was a member of Spring Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church and enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing. Surviving are his children, Shirley Hutto (E.J.) of Lugoff, Pete Branham (Sarah) of Lugoff, Judy Rabon (Harold) of Lugoff, Linda Thomley (Jim) of Lugoff, Robbie Branham (Lisa) of Elgin, Susan Hughes (Richie) of Lugoff and Mike Branham (Angie) of Elgin; sisters, Mary Alice Smith of Elgin and Johnny Mae Bradford (William) of Lugoff; brother, Charlie Branham (Carolyn) of Elgin; 19 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Roy N. Branham Jr. (Angie).
