LUGOFF - Graveside service with military honors for MSgt. Gregory Clyde Williamson, U.S. Air Force (Ret’d), 59, will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. in Hardshell Cemetery. Rev. Wayne Flowers will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. MSgt. Williamson died Thursday, December 18, 2008. Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late Samuel Cecil and Abbie Lee Bundrick Williamson. He retired in 1992 from the South Carolina Air National Guard after 23 years service having served in Desert Storm. He also retired from Hughes Air Craft in 1999. Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Sandra J. Williamson; daughter, Sandra Ellyn (Chris) Carr of Lugoff; son, Gregory Aaron “Eel” (Lonnie) Williamson of Lugoff; brother, Samuel Cecil Williamson, Jr. of Columbia; and 5 grandchildren.
