CAMDEN - Memorial Service for Margaret Rose Lewis, 69, will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Rowan Presbyterian Church, Lugoff. Rev. Phillip McCoy will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Mrs. Lewis died Wednesday, February 11, 2009. Born in Boston, Mass., she was a daughter of the late George Jamieson and Mildred Hamlin Jamieson. Margaret was devoted to her work as a nurse’s aide to the elderly. She was member of Rowan Presbyterian Church where she was active in the WOC and a member of the Adult Sunday School Class. She enjoyed Latch Hook work. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Lewis of Elgin, and Heidi (Ulises) Duran of California; grandchildren, Rochelle Duran and Dante Duran; brother, George Jamieson of Mass.; sister, Margie Dion of Mass.; and her children’s father, Robert Gray. She was predeceased by a son, James Lewis.
