Dear Chuck,
I was sad to hear of Jo's passing. I remember when we would run into each other, we would give each other a hug and would call it our "Jesus Hug". She was a great listener and would often pray for me...this always made me feel better. I will miss her.

Chuck, we know the Lord has given you His peace for such a time as this. It was a pleasure to get to know Jo in school and the England mission trip. I enjoyed her ministry of love to people immensly. What a blessed woman of God. I am sure the loss is hard for you, but death has lost its sting because of Jesus. We love you, and are praying with you.

Chuck, Jo was such a wonderful woman of God. What a joy she was to work with. We laughed, cried, rejoiced in the Lord, shared our hopes and dreams, our sorrows, our past and still got our work done. But most of all we shared the same future. She is now singing and dancing with Jesus and oh what a joy that is. The two of you were remarkable together. Bethany and the kids still talk about you and all your help. You are a strong man and God will carry you through this with the help of your family and friends. Naomi and Conner were sad when I told them about Jo and said it's okay grandma...she's in heaven with Jesus. We love you. As Jo would say, Shalom, y'all.

I'm so blessed to have known Jo. She was such an encourager and a blessing to me and so many other people's lives. I'm sad for me and for her family that she is gone but I'm happy for her that she's up in Heaven in the arms of Jesus. Until we see her again she will be missed.

We are all sad to know we won't laugh with Ms Jo again until we are all together in heaven. Jesus is soo cool to have made a way for us to do that!
Until then, we will keep her laughter and memories near to our hearts.
We sure do love you both... and pray for joy and the fullness of life to be yours Mr Chuck all the time.

Dear Chuck and family,
Wasn't it just last year that we spent Christmas day together at Karen's with Elaine and Alex? I was remembering how generous Jo was in getting us all little bags and filling them with thoughtful gifts. What a generous woman Jo was to everyone. What kindness she always expressed. And, in what great sensitivity she spoke encouragement into my life, every single time I saw her! I will miss her! Be comforted, Chuck, because we know she is rejoicing with Jesus! He will turn your mourning into joy once again. Love, Penny

Chuck, and all family members,
Jo was such a part of our "up North Gang", and she was such a powerful woman of God. I think what I will always remember the most about Jo, is the excitment in her eyes and even her voice as we shared the things of God. She was a True friend and we shared some wonderful times.
Now she is dancing on The Streets of Gold but my heart goes out to all of you in the days ahead that the Holy Spirit be with you and be your comfort.
