CASSATT – Funeral service for Sandra Hinson Anderson, 63, will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Beaverdam Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Anderson died Monday, May 6, 2013. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late Andy and Georgia Lee Tickle Hinson. She was a Rural Route Carrier for the United States Postal Service and was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Joseph H. “Joey” Anderson; children, Connie Croxton (Chuck) of Camden, Billy Newman Jr. (Anne Marie) of Camden, Teresa Miller (Jim) of Camden, Robin Threatt (Terry) of Camden and Joseph Anderson Jr. (Rochelle) of Camden; sister, Barbara Jones of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 19 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Andy Hinson Jr.
