Jack was my cousin. His Mother and my Mother (Mable Shirley Ayers-deceased 1975) were sisters. I remember the times I spent at the house on the hill. I remember the whole family. I remember when Jack and Aline got married. I send my sincere sympathy for the family. God Bless and we will seen them again.

There were a few extremely nice & helpful people at duPont - Jack was one of these few. I certainly enjoyed working with him & all the help he gave willingly to the Process/Technical organization. His "can do" attitude was one reason this plant was so successful. Aline, if there is anything I can do, please call. Don - friend, coworker & All Seasons partner.

Dear Aline, Ann, Jackie, Edwin and Family -
I was so saddened to learn of the passing of Jack. He was a wonderful man and a very loved and respected member of our family. He was very special to my mom and dad, having been best man at their wedding more than 62 years ago. I was on my way to Baltimore to visit my sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren, when I learned that Jack had passed away. I am so sorry that I will be unable to be at the funeral. Just know that my thoughts and prayers will be there with you. I know that our heavenly Father will comfort you all during this difficult time.
With much love,
Patty

I have many wonderful memories of Jack. At Dupont, I had a lot of lab work done in Orlon PT Lab and worked close with Jack in the early days. Even when very busy and under work pressure, he was always cheerful and anxious to help. He was a pleasure to work with.
Later, we became better friends at square dancing, We had great times going "on the road" to visit other clubs and callers. Those were really fun times.
Lastly, we became even better friends on the golf course. We played together for every week for probably 15 years, along with Al White, Ike Camp, Al Twing and Elmer Rudd.
Jack will really be missed. I really regret that I have not spent more time with him after he became ill. All my love to Aline and the family.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jack and Aline at the wedding of their granddaughter Lauren. Although I hadn't known Jack long, the brief meeting was a treat. I know that slight, all-knowing, mischievous smile will be missed terribly. My love and most sincere sympathy extends to Ann and all of Jack's friends and loved ones.

My sincere sympathies to the Davis family for the recent passing of Jack Davis. Ann Davis Gennett is married to my father, Nicholas Gennett, and I had an opportunity to meet with the Davis family during that wedding weekend in South Carolina several years ago. Jack was a very kind man and interesting to speak to. The Davis family is a very close group and I know they will miss Jack more than words can say.
