My Very Dear Friend, It's only natural that you were integrally entwined in my thoughts today. You were and are such a special brother-in-law and friend with such a magnanimous heart. I'll forever be grateful for the generosity and care you gave me and my family. Your joyful spirit, peppered with your witty humor made it a pleasure to be around you. We have great memories of our time together with you and your beautiful wife, Doris (who just happened to be my sister), Rick, and Dale (my awsome nephews - I may add). Precious memories, indeed, a treasure trove to reflect on and brighten our days. Until we meet again, we'll hang on to the good times and keep on keeping on. Much love always, Bev, Don, and family

Aunt Doris, Ricky and Dale, I cannot comprehend your thoughts and pain you must feel; how difficult it must be to even move forward. We can only receive the comfort our Lord and Savior blesses us with in these times and look forward to meeting him at the glorious gates. I will always remember the precious moments I was blessed with as Uncle Wayne and I would go out to eat each day before computer class; him standing there combing his slick hair back and saying "be cool." I loved Uncle Wayne very much, as I do each of you!!! Uncle Wayne was my favorite uncle and a sweet gentle man. God Bless You All and comfort you until the trumpet sounds!

Truly it is a comfort during this most difficult time to know that so many were blessed to have had Wayne as a relative, friend, or acquaintance. The spectrum of the gifts he enthusastically shared are lengthy and the impact shaped many. Although, he has gone on before us, we can be instrumental in going forward employing that "gentle spirit" which personafied God's work-in-action which was graciously bestowed on Wayne. The precious memories can serve as a guideline as we endeavor to journey in the spirit of Christ until we are once again reunited with our beloved Wayne. With love and affection, Bev & Don

My Dearest Doris, Rick, and Dale, Your great loss is truly an attribute to the special husband/soulmate, father, and friend of whom you were so graciously blessed to have had as an integral part of your lives; you, Doris, since your childhood and you, Rick and Dale, from the inception of your being. Without hesitation we, too, have been greatly impacted by such a uniquely gentle spirit. Wayne was truly a loving, generous soul to me when I experienced horrific trauma in my life another world ago. Reflecting back on your and his selfless support on all levels made a tremendous impact on me. I will always value and cherish the gift of you and my brother in Christ, Wayne. (1 of 2) With love, Bev & Don

I am so glad that I had the opportunity to help take care of wayne the last seven months of his life. I did not get the chance to know him as he was before he got sick but I have heard alot of stories about his life. Wayne holds a special place in my heart as well as the rest of the family also. He was loved and will be greatly missed by many.

Dear Ms. Doris,
Although I only was able to spend about 6 months with Wayne, I learned how special of a man he was. With his dark brown eyes, dark black hair the he kept til the end, and that beautiful smile that lit up the room everytime you were in his view. I always thought it was so sweet to see you two together because it really brought back the meaning of "childhood sweethearts" that you rarely hear of today. I wasn't able to have met him before he got sick but through all the loving pictures and wonderful traveling stories I heard about him I know he was a man who loved life but most of all loved his family. He was a very polite man. He always said "thank you" when I gave him a lil' snack throughout the day. I grew very close to Wayne while sitting with him during the day. I will truly miss him. I am so glad that I was able to know Wayne and he will always remain in my heart and my prayers as you and your family will as well.
