CAMDEN - Funeral service for Agnes T. McCaskill, 79, will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Malvern Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Craig Thompson and Rev. Buster Morris will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to Malvern Hill Baptist Church, 1514 Malvern Hill Road, Camden, S.C. 29020. Mrs. McCaskill, wife of the late Sam McCaskill, Jr. died Tuesday, July 7, 2009. Born in Lee County, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Edna Trimnal. She retired after 40 years from the A&P Grocery Store. She was a member for over 50 years of Malvern Hill Baptist Church where she served in many roles of the church and was vice-president of the Dorcas Sunday School Class. She enjoyed working on the flower ministry with the church and visiting nursing home residents. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed cooking, crocheting and traveling. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-laws, Dale and Debbie McCaskill Sr. of Camden, Myron and June McCaskill of Lugoff, Darrin and Yana McCaskill of Boiling Springs, and David and Fran McCaskill of Columbia; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice and Doug King of Camden, and Frances and Sam McCutchen of Red Hill; grandchildren, Dale McCaskill Jr., Lauren McCaskill, Russell McCaskill, Ross Grayson McCaskill, Ashley McCaskill, Mary Beth McCaskill, and Ava Elizabeth McCaskill; and great grandchildren, Jordan Adams and Aidan McCaskill.
