CAMDEN - Funeral Service for Lois Haynes Rabon, 75, will be held Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Camden First Church of the Nazarene with burial to follow in Forrest Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Dr. Mark Bredholt and Rev. Scott Roberts will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to Camden First Church of the Nazarene, 2276 Jefferson Davis Highway, Camden, S.C. 29020. Mrs. Rabon died August 21, 2009. Born in Great Falls, S.C., she was a daughter of the late L. Harold Haynes and Lorena Ross Haynes. Ms. Rabon worked as an Operator with Bell South. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and gardening. She was a member of Camden First Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are her sons, Benny Rabon of Camden, and Roger Rabon of Aiken, S.C.; daughter, Kimberly Rabon of Camden; brother, James Haynes of Lancaster; sisters, Pauline Carter of Lancaster, and Lillian Goff of Lugoff; grandchildren, Angelica Rabon, Jessica Godwin, Benny Rabon, Jr., Terra Rabon, Dana Rabon, Vince Rabon, Shelly Rabon II, and J.J. Hornsby Jr.; and 9 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Shelly Rabon Jr.; brothers, T.C. Haynes, and Harold Haynes; and sister, Ruby Haynes.
