CAMDEN-A memorial service for Jason Edward Faulkenberry, 25, will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Rev Bryant Fersner will officiate. The family will receive friends at the home on Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the Pitts Foundation, P.O. Box 100199 Department 274, Columbia, S.C. 29202. Jason died Sunday, August 23, 2009. Born in Camden, he was a son of Dennis Wayne and Cathy Earline Lucas Faulkenberry. He was an avid fisherman and duck hunter. He also enjoyed coon hunting. He was a member of the Wateree Bass Masters Association and was a devoted Tennessee Football fan. Surviving are his parents of Camden; brother, Scott Allen Faulkenberry of Camden; paternal grandmother, Leacy Coates of Kershaw; maternal grandparents, James and Linda Boulware; and nieces and nephew, Haley Faulkenberry, Autumn Faulkenberry, Cole Faulkenberry, and Cheyanne Faulkenberry. He was predeceased by grandfather, John Edward Faulkenberry.
