LUGOFF - Funeral service for John David, 58, will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Rev. Matt Galloway will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Harley Owners Group. Mr. David, husband of the late Cecile Massey David, died Saturday, September 5, 2009. Born in Barberton, Ohio, he was a son of the late Ray David and Mary Fisher Kratzer. A Vietnam veteran, he served in the United States Marine Corp. He was a retired truck driver and enjoyed working on cars and semi-trucks. He was a member of the Harley Owners Group and loved his Harley Davidson. He also loved his dogs. Surviving are his children, Kendra David of Lugoff, Shane David of Wadsworth, Ohio, and Brandy David of Massilon, Ohio; sister, JoAnna McConnel of Hampstead, N.H.; and grandchildren, Noah Jefferson and Brittany David.
