WESTVILLE - Funeral service for Clyde Raymond Branham, 59, will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Craigan Blankenship will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to Bethany Baptist Church Family Life Center, P.O. Box 488, Westville, S.C. 29175. Mr. Branham died Thursday, December 24, 2009. Born in Camden, he was a son of Annie E. Boone Branham and the late L.C. Branham. He worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Data Prep. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and hunting. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Carolyn Branham; mother, Annie Branham of Camden; sons, Brian Branham of Lugoff, and Mitch (Trudy) Branham of Camden; brothers, Robert Van (Teresa) Branham of Camden, and Jackie Branham of Kershaw; and grandchildren, Dustin Branham, Kellee Branham, Maggie Branham, Sarrah Branham, and Mallory Branham. He was predeceased by a step-father, Perry Branham. The family expresses great appreciation to his brother, Van, for helping care for Clyde during his sickness.
