ELGIN - Graveside service for John Mendel Wiedemann, 46, will be held Monday, 11:00 a.m. in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens, Columbia. Rev. Daniel Flessas will officiate. Memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, PO Box 66, Elgin, S.C. 29045. Mr. Wiedemann died Friday, April 2, 2010. Born in Columbia, he was a son of Ray Edward Wiedemann and Annell Barfield Wiedemann. He graduated from Brockman School in 1985 and enjoyed collecting model trucks. He attended Salem United Methodist Church, where he was to be baptized on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010. Surviving are his parents of Elgin; brother and sister-in-law, Randy Edward and Colette Wiedemann of Pomaria; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
