I grew up next door to the Davidson family. Phil was just enough older than me that I did not know him very well. His mother and father were like second parents to me. I often knew when he was home for he had a tarzan- like yell he often gave outside like he was ready to just let go of the events of the day and glad to be home. I remember the first time he came home with Joan and thinking "How pretty she is". I remember Ed and Della talking with pride about their grandchildren. They loved them so much. I know you all have a feeling of a hugh hole in your hearts that no words can fill. I pray God will comfort you and give you peace in the promise that He has given that we will see Phil again. Our love and prayers for your family.

I have nothing but good memories of my cousin Phil. He will always be one of my heroes, and I honor and love him. I am thankful that I was able to see him at a recent family reunion, and I will see him again. God bless him and keep him and his family.

I extend my thoughts and prayers to all of Phil's family. I remember Phil from days at Hunter School, & at the Methodist Church at Hunter. His brother, Richard, a classmate of mine, and Phil have always been in high regard to me and my family. Their parents were wonderful members of our community & I remember many happy days spend at church singing with Mr. Davidson leading us in song. Mrs. Davidson was a sweet, & kind lady that brought "goodies" to school for us to share on special days. She was so proud of her boys, & for good reason.

As I remember the days of my youth when I was a member of the Boy Scout troop and the MYF at Hunter Methodist Church, I think of Phil and all the wonderful times we shared, along with Richard, Sid, and many other ole buddies.

Phil was my lifelong friend. Some of my fondest memories are of our days in Boy Scouts when Ed was the Scoutmaster, our days in MYF at Hunter Methodist and in the EHS band. Richard, Phil, Sid and I enjoyed growing up at a time when we had the freedom to roam the community just "hanging out." (Fred)
