Bill was like a member of our family, having been a friend to my mother (Ruth) and father (Tommy) Gissendanner for more than 40 years. Having lost both of them, I feel we have now lost another member of our own family and we grieve with you all. We were looking forward to seeing him next month for my son's graduation and we will feel the loss of him as we celebrate on that day. Having had no children of his own, Bill make all the children in his family and those of his friends, his own. My childhood would not hold as many memories without him in it. My only smile has come today in knowing that he will look my parents up in Heaven and they will surely find the best fishing spot available. Lynn Gissendanner-Galloway
