CAMDEN-Funeral service for Charles Lee “Chuck” McFarlin, 61, will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Cassatt Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Steve Lee will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Mr.McFarlin died Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Born in Flint, Mich., he was the son of Genevieve Ellen Westfall Robinson and the late Muriel Wayne McFarlin. He was a member of Cassatt Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing. Surviving are his wife of 27 years, SallieJo McFarlin; children, Jamie H. Jackson of Camden, Amanda L. McFarlin of Camden, Lynnette C. McFarlin of Cassatt, and Stephanie M. Bowers (Jeremy) of Westville; sister, Sue Robinson of Lugoff; and grandchildren, Allyssa Jackson, Heaven Jackson, Noah Jackson, Grace McFarlin, Brandy Holshouser, Megan Holshouser, Kaitlin Bowers, Laci Bowers, and Mason Bowers. He was predeceased by a grandson, Charles E. Bowers.
