CASSATT - Funeral Services for John Robert Stevens, 63, will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Lugoff Church of God with a burial to follow in Stevens-Ray Memorial Park, Cassatt. Rev. Tim Shirley will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Lugoff Church of God. Mr. Stevens died Friday, September 03, 2010. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Early J. and Marie Denton Stevens. He loved hunting, fishing and farming. Surviving are his wife, Vera Stevens; son, Robert E. Stevens (Samantha) of Parsons, Kansas; daughter, Patricia “Sissy” Branham (Billy) of Cassatt; grandchildren; Anne-Marie Branham and Donna-Rae Branham; brother, Buddy Stevens (Brenda); sisters, Margie Price (Martin), Lesa Parrott, Louise Newman (Jimmy), Mazie Harrell, Juanita Caulder (Dennis), and Ruth Arledge (Sonny). He was predeceased by his sister Maggie Jerman.
