CAMDEN – A memorial service for James Howard Perry, 54, will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Lugoff Church of God. Rev. Tim Shirley will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Lugoff Church of God, P.O. Box 27, Lugoff, S.C. 29078. Mr. Perry died Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Born in Wyandotte, Michigan, he was a son of the late Gloria Lucille Eagle Perry. He served in the United States Navy. He was owner of Lugoff Bait and Tackle. Mr. Perry was a member of Lugoff Church of God and the Men’s Fellowship. He was an avid fisherman and member of the American Legion. Surviving are his wife, Susan Woods Perry; daughter, Jacqui Perry Lorick (Robert, Jr.) of West Columbia; brother, Robert Perry (Sue) of Morehead, Ky.; and grandchildren, Jared, Jada, Julie, and Jacob Lorick. He was predeceased by son, Jason Matthew Perry. The family expresses great appreciation to the staff with Oncology Department at the Dorn V.A. Medical center and the staff of KershawHealth Hospice for their loving care.
