LUGOFF – Funeral service for Annie Mae McLeod, 80, will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. John United Methodist Church with burial to follow in St. Paul Methodist Cemetery. Rev. John Mims will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. John United Methodist Church 45 Roseborough Road, Lugoff, S.C. 29078 or Alzheimer’s Foundation. Mrs. McLeod, wife of the late Alvin C. McLeod, died Saturday, October 30, 2010. Born in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late John and Sallie Ann Ray Taylor. She was a member of St. John United Methodist Church. She was a member of Julia Jones Circle and former MYF leader. She was also a former member of the Lugoff Professional Business Women. Mrs. McLeod enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her daughters, Cynthia McLeod of Lugoff, Jeannette King of Goose Creek, Claudia McManus (Henry) of Camden, Sallie Barrett (Byron) of Lugoff, Judy McLeod of Winchester, Ky., and Kristy McLeod of Georgetown, Ky.; sons, John McLeod of Lugoff, and Christopher McLeod of Columbia; sister, Louise Lovette of Beaufort; sister-in-law, Wilma Quesenberry of South Congaree; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren.
