CAMDEN – Funeral service for Christine Brinson Murff, 82, will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Wateree Baptist Church with burial to follow in Union United Methodist Church Cemetery, McBee. Rev. Bobby J. James, Jr. will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to Wateree Baptist Church or the Walter M. Crowe Animal Shelter. Mrs. Murff, wife of the late Richard M. Murff, Sr., died Saturday, November 13, 2010. Born in Bonneau, S.C., she was a daughter of the late George and Susie Crawford Brinson. She was a member of Wateree Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her sons, Richard M. Murff, Jr. of Bennettsville, Maurice J. Murff of Camden, and Gary M. Murff (Kathy) of Camden; brother, Alton Brinson (Pat) of Bonneau, S.C.; grandchildren, Richard M. Murff, III, Scott Murff, Brett Murff, Ashley Murff, and Megan Morrow (Jody); and great-grandchildren, Cody Corbett and Madison Morrow. She was predeceased by brother, Milton Brinson; and sisters, Inez Tiller and Maxine Caddin.
