LUGOFF- A memorial service for Mildred Wiles, 84, will be held Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Rev. Todd Horton will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Springvale Baptist Church Building Fund, 1496 Springvale Rd, Lugoff, SC 29078. Mrs. Wiles died Wednesday January 5, 2011. Born in Knoxville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margeret Kline Scarbrough. Mrs. Wiles enjoyed to fish and also loved gardening. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ronald “Rock” Wiles; daughters, Phyllis Kelton (Dave) of Siketson, MI, Carol Ballard (Bob) of Catawba, SC, and Linda Bielland (Elmer) of Harriman, TN; 7 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter Susan Ross.
