WEST COLUMBIA – A memorial service for Billy Steven Reeder, 61, will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to Thornwell Home for Children. Mr. Reeder died Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Born in Lexington, he was a son of the late George Oscar Reeder and Carrie Mae Hicks Reeder. He enjoyed crafting leather. Surviving are his sons and daughters-in-law, George and Michelle Reeder, and Kerry and Megan Reeder; brothers, Bud Reeder and Ricky Reeder; sister, Dot Walker; and grandchildren, Isabella Renee Reeder and Ella Sue Reeder. He was predeceased by brother, Stan Reeder.
