I joined Farm Bureau a couple of years after Walt, and he served as my totally unselfish mentor. Walt turned out to be more than a professional mentor, and I consider him a true friend. Our paths split several years back, but I'll always remember the time his TV went on the blink. He said it was great, because the family sat down and talked! He said he gradually moved it into the closet, and the family was eating together and talking. His love of his wife and children was a model for any husband and father. More than that, he was the model for all men of God with a cheerful greeting for everyone. He never had a disparaging remark for anyone in my times with him - not to say that he didn't give us all a hard time with his quick wit. Barbara and his family recognize it and feel the loss. While Walt was not a world leader or star athlete, he certainly was a giant among men. I'm sure the Lord had a big hug for him when he went home. When I read the obituary, I cried.

Barbara, so sorry to hear of Walt's passing.
It has been some time since we have seen
each other and I was shocked when I read
of his passing in the newspaper.
You have had 50 wonderful years with him,
so now it is his time to spend the rest of
eternity with the almighty father - where you
will join him one day in the future.
I pray for you and the girls and please know
that God is watching over you in this time of
sorrow.
Your classmate and friend,
Evelyn

Walter and I knew each other for only a few years yet we each developed a profound understanding of the others thoughts and feelings. My wife met Walter only once however she was well aware of the fun Walter and I had during our animated discussions. I especially enjoyed his honesty and his sense of humor. I will always remember him as an honorable and decent man. My entire family will miss him dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of loss.

Mrs. Geloewski,
I was reading the obituary today and saw that Mr. Geloewski had expired. It's hard to saying goodbye to a loved one, but it's also a joy in knowing that he doesn't have to suffer any longer and that he's gone home to be with Jesus. In my short time of knowing both of you I've come to the knowlege that you both are children of the soon coming king. Having this knowlege, I realize that everything is ALREADY ALRIGHT! ............KEEP THE FAITH!
God bless you,
Reggie
