Obituary of Kay Livingston
COLUMBIA – Funeral service for Kay Boltin Hooker Livingston, 67, will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Northeast United Methodist Church in Columbia, with burial to follow in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, Orangeburg. The Rev. David Day will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Tri County, 166 Stoneridge Drive Suite 100, Columbia, S.C. 29210.
Mrs. Livingston died Friday, July 01, 2011. Born in Orangeburg, she was a daughter of the late Walter Raymond and Mary Agnes Croft Boltin. She was a member of Northeast UMC.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest Franklin “Frankie” Livingston; daughters, Valerie “Val” Hooker LaFrage (Lee) of West Columbia, Cathi Hooker Ray (Cleatus) of Lugoff, Whitney Hooker Northcutt of Columbia, Martee Livingston Ward (Brian) of Louisville, Ky.; nine grandchildren, Brooke, Hunter, Samuel “Sam” and Austin LaFrage, Mackenzie and Ethan Ray, Zachary “Zach” Northcutt, Alexandria “Alex” Cogdell, and Landon Ward; sisters, Ann McDaniel of Orangeburg, Pat Basham (Jim) of Raleigh, N.C.; brother, Ray Boltin (Jackie) of Goose Creek; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Robin Hooker; her first husband, Gene Hooker; and brother-in-law, Richard “Pete” McDaniel.
