LUGOFF - Funeral service for Dan Jack Branham, 85, will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Springvale Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Todd Horton and the Rev. Dr. Charles Everett will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorial may be made to Springvale Baptist Church Building Fund. Mr. Branham, husband of the late Mary Reynolds Branham, died Friday, November 18, 2011. Born in Lugoff, S.C., he was a son of the late Mae Bell Branham. Mr. Branham was a member of Springvale Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing the guitar, and singing. Surviving are his daughters, Jackie B. Biddenger (Harold) of Elgin and Lana B. Murff of Lugoff; brother, Tommy Branham of Lugoff; sister, Zillie-Mae Barrett of Lugoff; 4 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, John H. Branham and Henry Branham.
