LEXINGTON – A memorial service for John W. Ellisor, 50, will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The Rev. Dr. Mark Bredholt will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mr. Ellisor died Monday, December 19, 2011. Born in Columbia, he was a son of Marvin Lois Craft Nelson and the late William K “Bill” Nelson. Surviving are his mother of Lexington; sons, Peter Lusk, Joshua Ellisor, and John Ellisor; brothers, William Nelson and Lee Nelson; sister, Rose Wilson and Mary Hegler; and 2 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Mike Nelson.
