I am very sorry to hear of Jeff passing. I was in Lugoff on December 27 for Christmas and ran into Jeff at Rabon's Alignment. Bobby and I were standing in the office with another customer when Bobby asked me Mike do you know who this is? We did not recognize each other at first. It had been over thirty eight years since we played football in the park, swam at Drakeford Park and rode on a car hood pulled behind a tractor through the woods next to his home as kids. Jeff was excited to tell me about his wife, children, sisters and his brother. My son and I could feel the love he had for his family as he talked about each one. I feel blessed I crossed paths with Jeff on December 27, 2011 after so many years.

Just a few of my favorite memories that I will always hold dear to my heart: My first time fishing/shrimping; Jeff, Jeff the dancin' chef; Boat trips/4 wheeler trips; Learning to drive: a backhoe, John Deere Tractor & his F-350 (with the boat trailer); His sense of humor; His "matter of factness";Cookouts and other antics at The Big Rock; Conversations & Cocktails; The many nights sitting in the giant chairs watching a laser show & listening to Zepplin & Pink Floyd at home; The Coast Guard Rescue; His visit in August 2011 to my house in Cleveland, TN to visit with Andy & I and meet our 3 day old daughter; "porkchop" "squirrel child" and the best one, "PIG". So many more. I could go on & on. Thank you to everyone for your out pouring of support. I am sure that Jeff is smiling down on us from his FOURTH World's Fair. "All the love in the world" to you Jeff!

We only met you and Jeff once or twice in Tallahassee since Sabrina and Casey lived together. Casey has told us how wonderful Jeff was and Sabrina has always enjoyed his sense of humor. You both raised a wonderful daughter who we consider family. Please accept our sincere condolences.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Jeff. He was a kind and thoughtful person who was always great for a good laugh. He called me "Samantha" for over 10 years even when he realized that wasn't my actual name. So, I always referred to him as "John" just to return the favor. "John" will be greatly missed by all, and I know particularly how much he meant to Casey, who was my roommate through most of college and is still one of my closest friends. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.

My sincerest condolences for Betsy, Casey, Lauren and to Mr. Truesdell's family/friends. I have fond memories of visiting SC and Mr. Truesdell taking Lauren and I out on the bank. He was a lovely-humorous man with a family he loved and that returned that love with all they could. Will pray for the family during this time.

Jeff was a great little brother and I'm going to miss him a lot! He lived life large but it seemed too short. I'm glad we got to spend more time together during the past couple of years. I'll especially miss his jokes and stories. I wish him peace and happiness forever.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. Death is an enemy to us all. It is especially an enemy when it strike someone dear to us. God is more powerful than death and he promise to get rid of this enemy once and for all. The Bible teaches: "As the last enemy, death will be brought to nothing." (1Corinthians 15:26) Then John 5:28 will be fulfilled: "Marvel not at this for the hour is coming when all that are in the graves shall hear his voice and come forth." I hope this message will help you cope with the loss of your loved one.
