Obituary of Franklin Ham
CAMDEN – Franklin Ham, 76, will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Lugoff Church of God with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Tony Barns will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.
Mr. Ham died Saturday, January 14, 2012. Born in Darlington, he was a son of the late Chestley and Cleopatra Tolson Ham. He served in the United States Army and retired from Hermitage Inc. He enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, reading the bible, and playing golf and horseshoes. Spending time with his grandchildren is what he enjoyed the most.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Mary Lois Thompson Ham; son, Dale Ham (Jennifer) of Camden; daughter, Karen Leanette Neiderquell of Washington; brothers, James Ham of Camden, Willard Ham (Lillian) of Camden, and Fred Ham (Wanda) of Timmonsville; sisters, Maggie Altman of Hartsville and Rose Lyles of Charlotte, N.C.; and grandchildren, Clayton Ray Ham, Christian Tyler Ham, Dylan Blake Ham and Corey Liam Ham. He was predeceased by son, Corey Ham; daughter, Priscilla Faith Ham; and brothers, Chestley E. Ham, Roy Ham, and Darrell Ham.
