COLUMBIA – Graveside service for Franklin Delano Richardson, Jr., 55, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Centerville Cemetery, Ridgeway. The family will receive family and friends Saturday 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Mr. Richardson died Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late Franklin Delano Richardson, Sr. and Beulah Allen Richardson. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He enjoyed reading, country music, his family and animals. He was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Charles S. Richardson of Marietta, Ga. Surviving are his sisters, Patricia R. Raines (William) of Blythewood and Barbara R. Morris (James “Butch”) of Hanahan; sister-in-law, Lori Richardson of Marietta, Ga.; aunt, Sarah Mattox of Blythewood; nephews, William O. Raines Jr. and Stephen Evans Jr.; nieces, P. LeAnne Joyner, Tonya Doniphan, and Abigail Richardson; and 4 great nieces and nephews.
