ELGIN – Services for Robert Lee Draper, 64, will be private. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. Mr. Draper died Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Born in Middletown, Md., he was a son of the late Harold Lewis and Betty Jane Kuhn Draper. He served in the United States Army from 1967-1969. He formerly worked for Moore Business and retired form Flippo Construction. He was a former Little League and Midget football coach. He enjoyed drag racing and was an avid Ravens fan. Surviving are his wife of 26 years, JoAnn Smith Draper; step-children, Robert Welch (Tracey), Michael Welch (Pam), Brian Welch, and Kevin Welch; brothers, Larry Draper, Doug Draper (Ann), Denny Draper (Ruth), Randy Draper (Debra), Terry Draper (Shelley), Karen Draper, and Kelly Mays; 3 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jim and Rosemary Rogers and Mike and Judy Buhrman. He was predeceased by a brother, Dale Eugene Draper.
