PINEVILLE – A memorial service for Evelyn Lucille Walker Vaughan, 87, formerly of Camden, will be held Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The Rev. Richard Cameron will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Morningside Baptist Church in Spartanburg, S.C. Mrs. Vaughan, wife of the late Jesse Vaughan, died Friday, March 2, 2012. Born in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late Sidney Warner and Annie Chapman Walker. Surviving are her daughter, Kathy V. Kemp of Charlotte; grandchildren, Tommy Rhinehart and Debra Motts; great-grandchildren, Marina Rhinehart and Olyvia Motts; and niece, Nancy Jones (Mac) of Greenville, S.C. She was predeceased by a daughter, D.D. Buckwell; and sister, Mildred Sprouse. A special thank you to the Cameron family for their loving friendship given to Mrs. Vaughan.
