COLUMBIA – A memorial service Marshall Dean “Butch” Fowler, 57, will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The Rev. Ronald Laflam will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to ASPCA. Mr. Fowler died Friday, March 9, 2012. Born in Columbia, he was the son of Emily Dean Fowler and the late Marshall Aubrey Fowler. He served in the United States Army and retired from Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital. He enjoyed bowling and fishing. Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Dawn Faye Clark Fowler; mother, Emily Fowler of Columbia; daughter, Tammy Miller (Michael) of Lexington; step-daughter, Melissa Martin (Robert) of Mt. Olive, Ala.; brother, Michael A. Fowler (Christine) of Columbia; and granddaughter, Adriana Miller.
