ELGIN – Funeral service for Marilyn J. Linette, 91, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Woodridge Memorial Park, Lexington. The Rev. Jamie Rogers will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Linette, wife of the late Arthur F. Linette, died Thursday, April 12, 2012. Born in Detroit, Michigan, and raised in Louisville, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Willard and Lena Wornica Hester. She enjoyed crafts. Surviving are her daughter, Melinda L. Brown of Elgin; sons, Arthur F. Linette, Jr. (Donna) of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Douglas Linette (Kathy) of Lexington, S.C., and David Linette (Kim) of Lexington; brother, Pete Hester; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Pank and Louie; and sisters, June and Juanita.
