ELGIN – Funeral service for Elisabeth Jane Buchanan Crosby, will be held Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church, 2666 Hwy 1 South, Elgin, S.C. 29045. Mrs. Crosby died Sunday, July 22, 2012. She was born one Christmas Day to the late Curtis O’Neil and Zola Isabella Rose Buchanan. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed dancing and helping others. Surviving are her son, Richard Allen Crosby (Patti) of Elgin; daughter, Rhonda C. Leonhardt (Phillip) of Blythewood; brothers, James “Jimmy” Buchanan of Irmo and Curtis “Bubba” Buchanan (Margaret) of Augusta, Ga.; grandchildren, Keith Alan Crosby, Steven Leonhardt, Phillip Glenn Leonhardt, and Jennifer Dress; great-granddaughter, Claire Leonhardt; and a special friend, Roger Schweitzer.
