Obituary of James Alphonso Leonard

REMBERT – Funeral services for James Alphonso “Heart Attack” Leonard, 57, will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. A private burial will be held following the service. Minister Carrie Clark will officiate. The family will be receiving friends at the home of Johnny “Teamo” Leonard at 525 Hillsdale Lane, Camden, S.C. 29020.

    Mr. Leonard passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018. Born in Boykin, he was a son of the late Samuel and Roberta Sumpter Leonard. Mr. Leonard enjoyed dancing and singing and was the community comedian.

    Surviving are his siblings, Samuel Leonard, Jr. (Jennifer), Johnny Leonard, Carrie Clark, Roberta Adams (Carlos), William Anthony Grant, Walter Grant, Jr., and Vashawne Leonard (Del); and numerous nieces and nephews.
