Obituary of Jeffrey Brian Youngren

CAMDEN – A memorial service for Jeffrey Brian Youngren, 42, will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.  The Rev. Brian Plyler will officiate.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The River Church.

    Mr. Youngren passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018.  Born in Honolulu, HI, he was the son of Jeffrey Lynn Youngren and Brenda Louise Kallio Champion.  He worked for Kershaw County Public Works and attended The River Church.  He enjoyed reading, going to the beach, writing and working on wood projects.  He also enjoyed his daily devotionals and spreading  God’s word.

    Surviving are his mother,  Brenda Champion (Scott Champion) of Elgin; father, Jeffrey Youngren of Ala.; sisters, Jennifer Stodden and Tia Moreno; and brother, Marcus Youngren.
