Obituary of Mattie Lee Peebles

BALTIMORE – A funeral service for Mattie Lee Peebles, 81, will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. S.J. Young will officiate.

    Mrs. Peebles, wife of the late Bennie Peebles, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018. Born in S.C., she was a daughter of the late Sam Dinkins and Mattie Seegars Dinkins. Mrs. Peebles enjoyed watching TV and cooking.

    Surviving are her partner, Clarence Lowery of Baltimore, MD; sister, Sara Haggins (Wallace) of McBee; adopted sister, Sabrina Wright; and a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
